What Types of Sedation Do We Offer?

Oral Sedation

With oral sedation, we give you a pill to take before your appointment. This will take effect while you’re in the chair, and will help you stay calm and relaxed throughout your appointment. Depending on the medication we give you, you may need to take it up to an hour prior to your appointment. You may experience anything from a reduction in anxiety to falling asleep in the chair! Regardless of the specifics, due to its potency, you’ll need someone to drive you home from your appointment after oral sedation.
